Many of you dream of becoming professional footballers, reaching the top and enjoying the sport that you are truly passionate about. But in reality, everything is different. What actually happens is that many footballers remain on the path to becoming professional players, and in many cases they give up academic training because they are 100% focused on football and because of the inability to combine study and sport. And this is where the United States is emerging as an ideal alternative for many footballers to pursue academic and athletic training. In my opinion, of course, being able to play in the American university system is a privilege as you are part of educational institutions with impressive facilities and many other resources that allow you to conduct academic and sports competitions in the best possible conditions. Also, you can get an athletic scholarship based on your athletic and academic level, which I find incredible.

AS A STRUCTURE OF UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL
I came to the United States with a dream, like the vast majority of footballers, to become a professional in the United States. So this whole dream begins with the inclusion of the player in the American university system, where you defend the colors of your university for four years of your career. In each of these years, you fight to win your multi-team conference (in pure NBA style), and if you manage to win or qualify, you compete in a national championship where you have the opportunity to declare yourself Champion. Winning a national title is the goal of all college football players, but obviously not easy to achieve.

The preparation is hard because American football is much more physical than Spanish. Each player prepares daily individually and together with his team. A typical day at an American university consists of training in the morning (very early) and before class, and the weekend for competition. See the best college and pro football

The season is split into two semesters, the first running from August to December, in which they compete to win the national championship, and there are two games a week, and then from January to June, during which there is one game per week. and serves as more preparation for the next season. During these months, trainers, as a rule, increase the load and physical activity in training.

Hello everybody! My name is Victor Muñoz Martianez, and thanks to football, I was able to fulfill a real dream in the United States. Like many of you, I started playing in Spain on youth soccer teams and was lucky enough to go through the quarries of Real Madrid and Real Club Celta de Vigo. After gaining experience at an American university, I was able to sign a professional contract with Sporting Kansas City of the MLS. Now I help football players and students to fulfill the same dream that I did.
